MUARC PhD and Honours Programs

MUARC is a multi-disciplinary research organisation, undertaking research into accident and injury causes and prevention. MUARC is a world leader in its field, and is the largest accident and injury prevention research facility in Australia. A particular strength is addressing research questions of direct relevance to prevention, and the translation of the research results into prevention policy and programs. MUARC researchers and students represented a broad range of disciplines from psychology, epidemiology, public health and statistics to engineering, medicine, nursing and science.

  • a bachelors degree with honours I or IIA in a relevant field; or
  • a masters degree in a relevant field which contains a significant research component; or
  • an approved medical degree together with research experience.
